Java is a widely used object-oriented programming language and software platform, created in 1995. It is owned by Oracle, and more than 3 billion devices run Java. Everything in Java is associated with classes and objects, along with its attributes and methods. For example: in real life, a car is an object. The car has attributes, such as weight and color, and methods, such as drive and brake.
What is the prerequisites for learning Java
Before studying Java, you should have the knowledge of basic computer skills, such as documenting editing, document formatting, saving files in multiple versions and formats. Also you should be familiar with general coding concepts like variables and data types etc. But as a beginner only above first part may be needed but second part is required but not mandatory. But if you are an engineering student and want to go for java programming then you should have knowledge in Object Oriented Programming in C++.
